Shifting Phone Preferences

According to a recent survey released by Harris Interactive

  • 89% U.S. adults are now using a cellphone
  • 79% still have a landline phone
  • 15% are making calls via VoIP
  • 9% of the U.S. residents are using landline phone service only
  • 14% are cellphone-only users

What are you doing to reach the increasingly mobile and VOIP user?

Is Yellow Page advertising seeing the end?

Notice the greater number of folks who gave up their landline and use only a cell phone?

And BTW, isn’t 79% market penetration pretty good? Mabe the doom-sayers are wrong, and the decline of the landline is a bit premature?
