It has happpened. Yesterday we watched Dakota walk through the security lines at the Colorado Springs airport and walk toward the gate area. We – Dena and I – had teared up plenty in the hour or so we had together, loading the car and driving there, then standing in lines for tickets and security. [...]

Back after a hiatus to show a pic of Seth at Kanakuk Kamp near Branson, MO. He spent 12 glorious days playing basketball, doing crazy activities from sun-up to sun-down, eating like a horse and generally having a blast. Along the way: many good spiritual lessons.

Well, its official. We’ve received our first bill from Hillsdale College. Boy, its a doozy! So, our oldest is really headed off to college.
And Dakota has word on his roommate for the upcoming year. He happens to be the son of a new friend in the Phoenix area…and these boys are similar in sooo many [...]
