While we were sitting quietly on a sun-soaked bench at the Anchorage Botanical Gardens this morning, we heard some rustling in the bushes and there – behold! – were two cow moose. Mooses? Whatever, we really enjoyed watching these ladies up close and personal…only 15 yards away from us for 10 minutes of munching!
Alaska is big, bold and beautiful.
Saige is enjoying Alaska very much. She took a wildlife cruise, and even saw several orca – killer whales!
A few weeks back Dena and I went to Solvang, California for some work-related meetings. We met some wonderful folks, ate too much good food and even took a 15 mile bike ride through the wine country of central California. Had a great time.
