Civil War Ball

A week ago Allie joined about 500 other homeschoolers at a gala event. Dressed in mid-1800s attire, they recreated a Civil War era ball. Great fun! Pictured below are the friends who helped make her dress and accompanied her to the day-long gala.
She is old enough to go to a dance? How’d that happen?

Michael Card came to town and performed a lovely Christmas concert at Village Seven Presbyterian Church. The choir, the orchestra, the venue…it was all very enjoyable. Allie had a fine time, too. as part of the church’s youth choir.
