What’s Your Business? Really?

Mark Ramsey’s insightful questions about radio can be applied to any enterprise. You’re not in business to satisfy a board or the CEO. You’re not in business to just make money. You’re really in a special business that provides something valuable to consumers. Here’s a sample of Mark’s wisdom:

The problem is that there is no “making money” business.  You don’t attract clients because you want to make money.  You don’t attract consumers because you want to make money.

What’s your business – really? I hope it isn’t about making money or “increasing shareholder value…”
